Congratulations to Rachel Morrison 2009-2010 Student Employee of the Year!

In 2007, Rachel began her on campus employment at McAllister’s Deli. Now a Senior Political Science major with a minor in Religion, Rachel has worked numerous jobs from food service to financial aid.

For Rachel, convenience is one of the best parts of working on campus. Between accessible locations and flexible work hours, she considers on-campus employment an easy way to make some money between classes. Free weekends and having school holidays off is also a plus for Rachel, allowing her to visit her family more often. Rachel further recommends student employment because “you get to meet and work with a lot of great people.”

According to her supervisor, Theresa Horton, Rachel’s dedication and out-going personality make her an ideal student employee. Having known Rachel since 2007, Ms. Horton chose to nominate her because of her organization, communication skills, and ability to be both a quality student and employee.
