Nominate a Student

Step 1: Be Sure the student meets the following eligibility requirements.

  • The student should exhibit reliability, high quality of work, professionalism, initiative and a unique contribution to a department of the university.
  • Nominees may be undergraduate or graduate students but not Graduate Assistants or Teaching Assistants.
  • The student must be enrolled full time.
  • The scholarship will be $1000, awarded the following academic year as $500 each in fall and spring. In order to receive the scholarship, the student must be enrolled full time in a degree-seeking program for that term. If the student is not enrolled, the scholarship will be forfeited.
  • Students must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or better at the time of nomination.

Step 2: The student's immediate supervisor should complete the Nomination Form using specific examples as evidence of the attributes listed therein.

Step 3: Submit  the Nomination Form, student's resume, co-curricular transcript, and any other supporting documentation to the Office of Student Employment by the deadline.
